Introduction & Spiritual Aura

Nestled in Karjat, Kapaleshwar (Shiv) Mandir (कपालेश्वर शिव मंदिर) is a revered Shaivite shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. A prominent pilgrimage point for Shiva devotees in the Karjat taluka, this temple provides a deeply calming sanctuary where visitors chant *Om Namah Shivaya*, offer Bel leaves (*Bilva Patra*), and perform traditional milk and water *Rudra Abhishek*.

The temple is especially vibrant on Mondays, during the holy month of Shravan, and on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri when devotees gather in large numbers.
